About Us

Halcyon Kitchens was established in 2001 by Jonathan Carter to provide quality kitchens for people who want a professional, personalised service from local experts.

With a wealth of experience as a Design Engineer and Cabinet Maker, his trademark is quality, accuracy and attention to detail. This is reflected in the superb quality of the kitchens he offers and in his choice of trusted, expert tradesmen who make up the regular Halcyon team.

Jonathan believes the service Halcyon Kitchens offers is unique in that he personally designs, sources and fits all his kitchens as well as taking on full project management from design to completion.

From day one he’s used a regular team of experienced, trusted, professional tradesmen, all experts in their own field, who carry out tiling, flooring, plastering, plumbing, painting, decorating and electrics. They too share Jonathan’s passion for quality workmanship.

Halcyon specialises in kitchens designed and manufactured to the highest standards from top quality materials covering all traditional and modern styles including solid oak, shaker painted timber, modern coloured gloss and matt. All available in a full pallet of colours including a comprehensive bespoke range.

We source appliances from a host of leading manufacturers including Neff, Bosch, Rangemaster, Franke, Perrin & Rowe, ISE, Blum and Kessebohmer. In addition an extensive range of work surfaces are available in granite, quartz or Corian.
